“The beauty of the land of Palestine stems from its rich, fertile, and diverse agriculture, and this has been for thousands of years, a social culture of farming that creatively lived with the land producing the best treasures out of the soil. Palestinian farmers lived in harmony with this ecosystem for thousands of years and continue to honor these traditions to this day” Founder, Nasser Abufarha.
2015 June: CORE held its Second Annual Advisory Board Meeting & its First Annual International Organic Agriculture Conference where they discussed plans for the advancement of the organic agenda in Palestine for next year, and put forward plans for international cooperation as well as cooperation with local institutions in Palestine.
“We are very pleased with the rapid advancement that CORE has managed to achieve within a short time since its foundation. This conference brings together all efforts interested in the revitalization of the organic culture in Palestine and protecting the Palestinian natural permaculture that has evolved over thousands of years. We trust that CORE will carry this mission forward & share this human inheritance with the rest of the world.” – Nasser Abufarha, founder of CORE
